Rae is a girl in a wheelchair. Her legs got paralyzed in a car accident. She's a freshman in high school. No one in her school talks to her. No one outside of school talks to her. No one talks to her. Period. 

Until one snowy day...

She meets a boy named Jacob. Jacob, unlike any other person, actually talks to her. Overtime, Rae gets to know Jacob. Jacob is funny, sweet, and extremely attractive.

Rae really likes Jacob, but she's afraid to tell him. She's afraid it'll ruin their friendship. She's afraid it'll be awkward between them. She's afraid he won't like her.
