Carter is 17yrs old, she lives a regular teenage life and is a strong, flirty, smart type of average girl. Carter has 2 older siblings, Kylie, which is the oldest and, Hunter. Living with 2 older overprotective siblings is something really annoying to get used to.
Carter's best friend, Arianna is funny, loving, and the kind person that makes everything so obvious other than that Carter loves her to death. Carter's family finds out that they can't keep their house anymore and can't afford to pay, Carter is the last one to find out and she is totally disappointed but of course she acts like its totally cool.
Carter's parents say they have to stay at a hotel or relatives house. But Carter hated staying at a relatives house. Even though she loves family time she hates sleeping on the worn out couch with a ripped blanket whenever she stays there.
Since Carter begged her parents not to stay with one of their relatives they end up staying at a 4 star hotel and Carter instantly fell in love with it. One day she met her neighbors and Carter couldn't believe her eyes it was the cutest guy at her school he grinned at her and She grinned back....

"Would you like to dance?" the boy asks me. I stare deep into his blue eyes, but I can't figure out who he is. He's tall with dark hair and the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen. I know everyone at this school, but with his features hidden behind his mask I can't tell who he is. "Sure, I would love to." Did I just say that? I agreed to dance with a random boy who I don't know. He takes my hand and leads me to the dance floor. We dance for a few songs and then he asks me, "Would you like to take a walk? I know the perfect place." I nod and he pulls me behind him off the dance floor. We leave the hotel and start walking down a little path. At the end of the path I notice a little fountain surrounded by candles. I wonder if he set this up. We walk over to the fountain and we sit down on the edge. "I had a wonderful time tonight," says the guy. He reaches to his face and removes his mask. I recognize him immediately. Amy has has the best life, she has good friends, a good parent, and the best boys chasing after her, but when a new guy, zack, comes and moves right across the street her whole life changes. if you want the first three chapters I will summarize them. chapter 1 Amy is getting ready for her date with a boy from the school that she has been wanting to ask in a long time. but he doesn't come and just disappears from the state. when she is waiting she see a moving van pull up and goes to see who's going to be her new neighbors. chapter 2 when Amy gets over to their yard she introduces herself and says that her mom is at work but will come over and meet them when she gets off work. when she gets home she tells her brother Sam about the girl that lives across the street, and he doesn't want to at first but then Amy tells him that she is his age and he jumps up and runs out of the house. then she goes upstairs to her room and calls her friends Lola and Lizzy to come over and they talk about Zack until Amy's mom comes home and she makes a welcoming dinner for them and they take it over to them that day. that's same day Amy starts getting to know Zack better. chapter 3 Zack wakes Amy up and starts talking to her about their date. it may seem like they are going on a date the day after they just met but Zack it persistent and wants to get to know her better, and he wants to get to know her fast. after Zack is done talking to her she tries to go back to sleep but she can't so she takes a shower. after her shower she gets out and finally looks in the mirror and sees her marks that are like fire but the color is black.Complete

When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around.
