Hanako is a typical female student in Japan, who likes magical girl stories as they appear in manga and anime. Maybe she likes them a little bit too much. She is convinced that magic exists and that it is only a matter of time until she will get contracted as a magical girl herself. One day she makes friends with a boy from her class, who will help her on the way to her goal. But he has ulterior motives and the naive Hanako is the perfect victim for his schemes. Hanako will end up in troublesome situations because of the tasks she has to complete to become a magical girl. But is it even possible? In the end, magic is just an invention by the entertainment industry, right?
