Ticker

Arryn woke up in a plane crash. She doesn't know where she is or why she was even on a plane in the first place. But what she does know is that the island has a gate holding back terrifying monsters. This gate has a clock on it, a countdown, and every time someone dies the number goes down. They call it The Ticker. Not a problem, the people are learning to sustain themselves. But when a murderer begins picking off people one by one, Arryn begins to wonder about who made The Ticker, why a murder makes the number drop more than just a natural death, and what happens when The Ticker runs out.
