Alex stopped dead in his tracks, but he didn't look back. Instead, he lifted his head the slightest bit. "Then what are you doing here?"
This was surprising. He hadn't spoken to me in weeks. Hell, I didn't even expect him to reply. "What do you mean?
Alex turned his head to the left a bit, so that I can see his cheek. "What the hell are you doing here? You're supposed to be fixing this damn relationship!"
"Why are you suddenly acting like you care?"
I could feel him smirk as he faced the front. "Maybe that's because revenge is a dish best served cold."
He continued walking and paused when he reached the end of the hallway. "Oh, and Aqueela? You're my fake girlfriend from now on. Good day."
