"Run!" I yelled as a limping figure made it's way towards a 6th grader. The 6th grader was frozen in shock and didn't move an inch. I look around trying to find something. Thank the heavens the gate of the school shed was breaking making it easy to break a piece of wood off. "Kazzy get the kid out of the thing's way"I yelled to my best friend and she immediately did as I said as I took long strides to the limping creature.
I should be confident I've been preparing myself for this all my life. But fear was trying to swallow me whole. I remembered who I'm doing this for.
My friends. My family. My brother. My sister. My mother. Everybody who taught me to never cry or show fear.
I cleared my throat as it got closer. I stopped moving. I studied the horrifying creature. Zombie, huh?

It shook and convulsed, it was like a fire ignited in her system. When she opened her eyes, she wasn't human yet she wasn't a Zombie either but a vampire who begged for more than blood, the after effects of having zombie venom in her blood. She planned to kill every mutant zombie there was, she wanted the world to bleed from her lips and bow down to her at the end. She wanted revenge for her dead parents, and the people she watched die around her. Escaping the Monster's Embrace (OLD BEING REWRITTEN )
(Currently being rewritten under a new name The Claimed) Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing.
