Aurora is a young princess with a tough life ahead of her.
She was used to being free to do as she please and not have to worry too much about acting ‘proper’. She was able to do anything, including having sword fights with the noble boys, gossiping with the scullery maids and even leaving the palace without a chaperone, but one day, the tables turn.
All of a sudden a world of responsibility is resting on the young girls shoulders and she is nowhere near prepared. All her freedom is suddenly snatched away and she is left with nothing but her duties.
Now at the age of twenty-one the carefree days she took for granted as a child are long gone and the boy she loved is just a distant memory. She longs for her freedom back, and so, when she meets a handsome young man who offers her it, what can she do but except?
