"She looked on as everyone filled the medium-sized, dimly lit room, looking solemn and many with tears streaming down their faces. She was sitting at the very front, near the baptismal pool where she could see the colors of the stained glass glistening in the still water. She looked around the gathering crowd, wondering who all she could spot that she actually cared about. She scoffed as she spotted her most recent ex-boyfriend sobbing two rows behind her mother and her grandmother in the front row. He never seemed to care that much while she was still with him. She wasn't going to miss running into him anymore around town, that was for sure. She almost wished for a moment that it was him up here instead of her, but she had long-since accepted her fate by now." Cover photo credit to https://www.instagram.com/syncasta_darko_photography/
