Life. Something we have but can't keep.
Moment. A swift blow of the wind, but then again just brief.
Something I came up with when I was with my father in the hospital. We stayed there for the night to nurse my grandfather. I just happened to woke up by 4am then watched the dawn break.
I dedicate this story to my cousin who lost her mother today. They were basically one of my inspiration in writing this stuff.

I'm just lying here in stillness and darkness wondering why. Why did this have to happen to my mom? We have nothing we can't even afford a house. The Ghosts
My mother always told me when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. When someone knocks you down, you get right back up. You fight the good fight until you have nothing left. You fight with honor, you protect the ones you love, and if you just happen to die in the process, than you do so with dignity and grace. What my mother neglected to tell me during my studies was that you don't always get what you want, the outcome you think is coming doesn't always happen, and when the smoke clears, you're always going to be the last one standing. By the end of The Certainty, Georgiana Vertigo is left with nothing more than her life, something many people would be more than happy to have. However, Georgiana is left to her own devices in a strange city, alone and heartbroken with regular intense bouts of depression. In starting a new life with the Guild, Georgiana has everything she needs in order to move on with her life and keep her mind off the past.
