Ever since James Gillies kissed Detective William Murdoch and jumped to his death, the detective can't seem to forget it. He knows Gillies probably died after jumping into the roaring river in handcuffs, and he knows he should be relieved. However, a part of him almost wishes James Gillies were alive. As if hearing the detective's prayers, Gillies appears before him and makes him question things he never had before. Will their relationship blossom or wither as their beliefs conflicts with what they feel for each other?

This wasn't love. It was madness. A certain type of madness I didn't know how to stop nor could I prove. What tore me apart was the fact it was coming from a man I thought was my friend, my family, my rock to lean on. Instead of being a rock to lean on. He turned out to be a rock that crushed you and everyone else around you. He turned out to be a killer that no one else believes. Melanie, and Alex, best friends for a long time. Alex was the epitome of best friend. However when people start getting killed and it somehow links back to Alex. Melanie gets suspicious. Especially after that one call that changed everything. Now let's see who would win. Alex's madness or Melanie who would do anything for justice.
