John is a serious and mature 17 year old that lives in a complacently boring life. Locking away the memories of his horrendous past, he manages to gain the friendship of his unique and strange friends. Everything changes once a couple of moving corpses arrive at the door step of his classroom, changing humanity forever. John and his group are forced to survive in an infected island with victims known as 'the dead'. Throughout the journey to their supposed 'heaven' they find that surviving becomes deadlier and deadlier each second.
