Adopted by Dave, Aubrey finally feels like she has a chance at a normal life, just like any other teen in Chilliwack, till she finds out that Dave is abusive and invites his drunken and often stoned friends to come over and 'fondle' her as they please. Each time she runs away she gets severely beaten and raped for hours at a time, and starved for days. Aubrey was in and out of the foster care system, until Dave adopted her. Having an abnormal childhood Aubrey has a very small social life, with little self confidence. Aubrey only has two friends, Dexter, and Ash, and feels like they could do better if she was just out of there way, but little does she know that they both love her more then they really should.
