She didn't recognize herself in the mirror once she saw her reflection, she had matured so much, she wasn't the little scared girl the fell off her horse. Her hair was tangled in that loose side braid, no longer the neat, combed braid she was so accustomed to. She had gained colour from the sun, she wasn't so pale and pure looking any longer, her skin was no longer flawless, she unwraps her side bandages and the one on her arm, her heavily scabbed and scarred skin revealed underneath. Even her eyes changed, now filled with a particular wisdom they never had before, she stared at herself and saw she was someone with a story to tell, not someone to sit and listen to one. She stares until she's used to herself once again, thinking about just how much she had been moulded and altered by her newly found friends, and the wilderness.
