When one thinks of the word 'freedom' we think flying away, or being separated from all our problems. The actual definition of freedom is not being imprisoned or enslaved, and that's exactly what it's supposed to be.
So why do I still feel like this?

"I can't do this anymore; I just can't!" A line said in almost every individual's life. We all at one stage in our life dealt with such pain; where dying is easier then living. But, it's all a rollarcoaster that we have to fight through. I was once a shy, scared and sad little girl and now I'm a confident, compassionate and cheerful young lady. Kharissa is Irish. She got put in the foster home(same one as Nadine and Lori) because her father and 'stepmother' were on drugs and her father did things to her that she did not like and made her do things she did not like her 'stepmother' did nothing to stop it. One they neighbors heard yelling coming from the house next to them and called the cope. They came and seen how Kharissa was living and they took her to the faster home. Nadine is Australia. Her mother and 'stepdad' is alcoholic. Her living at home was not the best thing for her things just got worse by the day it got to the point that she would run away from home. One day they got into a big fight that made the neighbors called the copes when they came they fought the cops stuff like that and they took Nadine to the faster home were she will be safe. Lori is British her parents banded her when she was a baby so she pretty much spent her hole life in the faster home. She has been to house to the house and she have been through the worst. It got to the point that they all gave up looking for the right home until one day. This story is for my little brother. He was the best man I ever knew, and he died too young. No, he didn't leave this life the way I tell it in this story (it is, after all, a work of fiction), but he might have had things played out a little differently than they did. Childhood sexual abuse is alive and well in America and the larger world as well. Rodney and I lived it, and that basic fact served as the seed that made this story possible. Much of what you are about to read is true. Just as much is pure fiction. You'll get that (in spades) as the book progresses. The idea of another, better life waiting "out there" somewhere is a constant of most religions, but this is not a book about any religion or, really, the afterlife.
