In this world love is tricky. There is a key to finding it...litterally. When you are born you are either tattooed with a lock if you are a guy or a key if you are a girl. Every one is different and every lock and key have a matching set. To find true love you sometimes have to travel all across the world. Sometimes you don't even know where your tattoo is.

At birth you are given half of a very unique, original symbol necklace or bracelet. The other half of your necklace or bracelet is being worn by your soulmate, the one you are destined to fall in love with. Starting at the age of 16, you begin your journey to find your soulmate. Your necklace will be colder the farther away you are from your soulmate and then hotter the closer you are to your soulmate. Finding your soulmate can either be hard, or quite easy, depending on your location. Mainly your soulmate should be located near you, but for the unfortunate ones, very far away. Possibly in another city, state, or even country. The half necklace you wear will lead you around on its own without you realizing it, for it wants to be with its other half too. Disbelief
Soulmates, we're always told we have one but I haven't been so sure I do. I mean I did get my tattoo and it hasn't disappeared yet, meaning they aren't dead. I guess believing in something like that takes a lot of effort. When you first touch your soulmate (Skin to skin contact) your tattoo turns a solid color. That color is the most important color in your life at the moment you touched. In this world, there's a system to tell who your soulmate is. Nobody remembers how it happened but, one day people started getting these tattoos on their right wrist. These tattoos are a basic shape that resembles your soulmate's hair. The shape is filled in completely by the color of your soulmate's hair as well. In the center of the tattoo, there are 1-5 objects. Those objects describe what your soulmate loves to do. The shape of my tattoo always fascinated me but I've never been able to put it into words. My tattoo shape is an upside-down half-circle if instead of the bottom part being flat, it opens and curves outwards. In the center of my tattoo was a volleyball, it always was a volleyball, it's never changed once. You see naturally, people tend to change hobbies, but whoever my soulmate was, they didn't change theirs, I never changed mine either which is fascinating. There are times in our lives that we look for something deliberately and grow tired of the search when it isn't found. Later, we might decide that it doesn't exist or that it is lost beyond the pursuit. But then, one fine day it falls right in to your lap without even calling out for it. And when you have it right there with you, you don't know what exactly you should do with it. That is what happens with love most of the times. It gets found at the most unlikely times in the most unexpected ways. Leaving you confused about how to deal with it. And by the time you figure it out, it might have vanished. The two persons I fell in love with; One, who promised me a forever and gave up on me the half way. The other, who gave me everything except the promise of a forever. I don't know whom I love the most.
