All my life, I'd been holding on to promises. An uncertain pledge from someone's mouth. All my being expected for a grand coming home. T'was never on my thought that the one who give me life. Will be the one to abandon me in this solace. I'd been to different places to look for that promises. Places like hell that almost burned my being in so much wrath. I'd been to a deserted place wrapped with thirst. The world must have thought that I am a blessing from above But, as the days gone by... I had never tasted the feeling of being your precious gift. The world might have considered my being as a future disaster. How can you say that I am truly a blessing, if the people around me considered me to be unlucky.

I loved her, even if she never knew my name. She was my Ariel, and I know I am her Eric. No matter what she says. #1 in short story on 02/07/18 This beautiful cover was a gift from @Kmbell92! If you somehow haven't yet, please check her out!
