Haruhi left Japan after graduation for school in Boston. Saying goodbye to the Host Club was the hardest thing she had ever had to do; and not seeing or speaking to them for four years was worse. With graduation around the corner, she returns to Japan to intern at a law firm, a law firm it turns out that deals closely with all the families of the former Host Club.

I failed to even notice that and I paid the price. So I cut all their contact info, I hesitated to delete Yukinoshita's contact number but she had already done the deed first. "Let's go, say goodbye to Chiba." Komachi went into the car, with tears. I, Hachiman, didn't shed none, for I never had any friends in the first place right? We moved into the U.S. in California. We weren't exactly rich but we were richer than average foreigners that lived here. It was all thanks to my parent's new jobs. "So, have you found a job yet?" My father asks. Being 18, I knew I would have to find a job in a matter of months or else I'll possibly get kicked out. Well, it would be-if it weren't for the fact that, over time, I realized I'd landed in the plot of a novel I barely remembered. Between people not doing what they should, "coincidences" that feel tailor-made to mess with me, and problems popping up faster than I can think, my plan went straight to hell. Haruhi's Sister
Who would have thought Haruhi had an older sister nothing like her. Where Haruhi is calm and caring shin is anxious and smothering. The poor girl has misophobia and hypochondria and is often convinced she's dying of some sort of illness or worried about her younger sister catching a disease or becoming unhealthy. When she really cares about someone she peppers them with questions about their health and tries to make sure they stay completely healthy. Despite her vast knowledge on the medical field she does not go to Ouran academy nor does she plan on having a paying career. The only thing she's ever wanted to be was a loving wife, devoted to her family until the day she died. It's easy for people to see how different the two are when put side by side. Haruhi takes after their mother while shin takes after their father. she's more eccentric and flamboyant with her outfits, enjoying playing dress up and putting on fake fashion shows for her family. She loves to experiment with different makeup and colors but her favorite style to wear is Lolita clothing. She loves dressing as a kid in cutsey outfits and even sometimes carries around a stuffed fox. Though shin is still in high school she goes to Ouran public high school not the academy like her sister. Though she is smart enough to get into the academy she didn't think it would be fair to take the spot away from another worthy candidate that probably wanted to do something with their lives besides be a housewife. Though when it came time for her sisters interview she did make a deal with the principle that she had free reign to come visit her sister whenever she wanted. He even gave her her own vip visitors pass so that she wouldn't get questioned about being there. Right now things are going good for the fugiokas at least until shin realizes she has no prospects for marriage and can't live with her father her whole life.
