I wrote this in 5th grade so don't hate if it's too random for you.
One day in 5th grade we had a project where we had to write a survival story and I got attached to writing Parts so hopefully you guys like it and want me to post the 2nd part and so on.
BTW the characters in this are based on my friends.
James, the abusive father, is making fish and Jourdyn, the main character, doesn't like fish, so she runs away.

From best friends to strangers. All of elementary and middle school they were best friends, always had each other's backs. But come 10th grade of high school, they started avoiding each other. So, just a disclaimer. This is an old story I wrote for my four best friends back in middle school and I wasn't very good (I'm still not that good).
