Finally, after almost 3 months of recklessness and rebellion, Averi has made the decision to embrace the hero life and attempt to turn her life around. She is surely changing for the better, but still staying herself thanks to her new forbidden friend, Red X. They seem like the power duo of the century, but when a call comes to the tower alerting that Slade may be in the city, Averi's ignorance could tear the 2 apart. Thinking that Slade is just a regular armature villain, Averi leaps into battle without hesitation, but soon learns that this is not somebody that needs to be ignored. Nobody has ever even come close to defeating the all mighty Werewolf, but sometimes, knowledge can be even more dangerous than shiny fangs or sharpened claws. Can Averi actually handle not being top dog for once?
