Christine was but 18 when her life was changed forever. She led a very simple life of only the finest things provided by her father and those that worshiped his tracks. While crossing from England back to her home in the Caribbean, their ship is attacked by wretched pirates. Unable to get to the life boat in time, Christine quickly becomes their prisoner held for ransom from her father. As the governor of a small island, appointed by the king himself, they expect he will pay whatever fine they require. Without being able to show any fear, Christine must endure the hardest time of her life alone. Well, not completely. 

A figure appears in her life as a friend aboard this vessel. On a ship with a crew and captain that are terrible in every way shape or form, he shows kindness and empathy towards her. 

Afraid for her life, all she can do is wait patiently to watch her story unfold.All Rights Reserved

A captain known for his wickedness and ruthlessness set his eyes on a young woman, one evening, at a tavern. After she refused him, she was kidnapped by him and forced to stay there for the rest of her life, not knowing that she would eventually fall in love with him. When it comes to him, he had a terrible life before, and although he dated many women, he loved only one. One that eventually wanted to leave him. Currently, he is addicted to alcohol, sleeps with many women, and has a lot of money. When it comes to her, she was born into a rich family, but her father lost all the money in a game. Ashamed to see his wife again, he left her, leaving her to raise the child alone, in poverty. When she grew up, she got engaged to a rich man for a better life. Currently, she is a brave but innocent woman. Will they manage to be together? This book also contains bad language, abduction, violence, murder, inappropriate jokes, alcoholism, drug addiction, suicide attempts and very explained scenes. The wardrobe was opened. I can't help the tears that are leaving my eyes. I still haven't made any eye contact with them yet. Fear is running rampant. "Look what we have here, boys." He says. I watch his feet as he drifts his body away from me to give the three other men a look at me. (1) "A boy" chuckled in amusement. (2) "Perhaps our newest young swabbie." One of them laughed in response. (3) "Young spring, rise up so we can see your face." One of the men said, (2) My body was frozen with fear, and I made no move. "Now young, Swabbie. You may be of use to us yet." (3) I glance at their shoes. Slowly standing, my legs trembling slightly. I wipe my tears with my palms. Then look at the burly men before me. "Come on, wee lass, the captain will surely be missing us." One of them states: (1) I only shake my head no. His smile disappeared within a few moments. I gulp my spit.
