School. To some, the word is pleasing. It brings happy thoughts to their mind as they hear the one syllable word with so much meaning behind it. To others, the word is pure torture. Bringing painful memories that pull on the heart strings of many. Burkley, a 15 year old teen girl, just happens to love school. She finds it fascinating to learn new things in just about every subject taught in her small middle school; for some reason learning comes naturally to her. Until one Monday morning, when she noticed that things just weren't right. She soon finds out that for the past 15 years she has possessed mercurial powers that have been locked away due to a jealous family member. Through this journey, she will have to fight for her rightful powers, unlock secrets of the past, and risk her life, all while trying to keep her powers hidden from her fellow classmates.
