Emily Burgess has always preferred the sidelines and her books. When she decides to become a part of the weekly paper team for her senior year to have something extracurricular to add to her college applications, it thrusts her into friendships she wouldn't have made otherwise. Emily has a lot to learn about the people who are involved in the high school drama she has always avoided, as well as some things about herself.
