8 year old Julie has been materialising tea sets and Teddy bears and makeup since she was 5 (imagination does achieve more than driving Mom crazy). Then came the day that she imagined herself at age fourteen. This could have turned out fine if that didn't result in time travel and 14 year old Julie (Julia) hadn't chosen that time to be stuck in Orwellian 2035 and running from Big Brother after having spoken her thoughts in her sleep (not a good idea when Big Brother's watching you). Along with Julia's best friend Freddie, Julie and Julia set out to find 2035 Julie(Julianna) in the hope of getting them back to Julie's time to assassinate Big Brother before his rise to power after The War. Can Julie teach Julia and Julianna the secrets of time travel before BB catches up with them?

She narrowed her eyes ."Are you blackmailing me?" she asked crossing her arms and raising her chin. "No, I never said that." Cole held up his hands yet grinning mischievously. "We're just saying that it would be in your best interest, along with ours if you joined us." shrugged Lucas. "You can't prove anything," she bluffed. She thinks it's only while using her big box of 64 crayons. She doesn't realize the power is in her mind's eye and not her writing implements. Jo (20) can teleport. Of course she doesn't always stick her landings. At first her landings are as messy as is her life. She's lost her mother, her family home, her faith and now thinks she may be losing her mind. Supercilious self-absorbed Amy (17) has the uncanny ability to get others to do what she wants. She says, ever so sweetly, "I'd prefer..." Dad always called it "wrapping others around her little finger syndrome." If she wanted she could ask a perfect stranger to hand over his car keys and he'd have to oblige. The oldest sister Meg (21) has dreams and visions about the world's near future. She's also very intuitive.
