((OK so I do not own Steven universe or any of the characters except for the some that I put in, also some of the characters are drawn or made by other ppl I do not take credit for them but, the cover photo I did draw. Vote and tell me what you think! *smiles*))
A girl by the name of Jewel is an Onyx gem, like Steven she is half human half gem. Her Father was a rare Onyx and her mother was a human. After giving birth, her father named her jewel and got to hold her one time before he disappeared and the gem appeared on her hip. Her mother, saddened by her husbands leaving she grew distant from the child, only caring for her until Jewel was able to care for herself. Around the age of 16 her mother gave her to her husbands closes friends, the Crystal Gems. Telling them that she could no longer care for her. That is when Jewel became a Crystal Gem.
((Some things are changed not all, I like keeping things the way they are sometimes. *smiles* hope you enjoy it.)

VERY VERY VERY VERY SLOW UPDATES! Many years ago, a gem emerged on the homeworld near the diamond palace. Pink, being the first one to recognize a gem emerging, told the other 3 diamonds about the information. As all four of them watched the new gem merge, it was discovered that the gem was born with two gems instead of one. Instead of shattering the gem, white diamond decided to keep them as they were a rare cut gem with an abnormal two gems instead of one. After the discovery, they decided to name the gem, Y/N. Y/N soon lived underneath the Diamonds and was treated as if she was a diamond herself. After Pink shattered, Y/N was heavily protected and had a harness around her at all times, always around either the diamonds or heavily guarded by two topazes and a jasper. After being allowed to roam around the Gem Warship, she was stopped by Steven who convinced her to help him find his friends and escape. After the explosion, she was founded by The Crystal Gems and was officially their 'hostage'. From being heavily guarded and kept within eyes sight and inside her whole life into being outside and experiencing many different emotions for the first time. This is when her story begins.
