What is with the struggle with sin? Why is it that we struggle to see past the lies of the devil, and become so spiritually blinded in the process of it? This story, one with a hopeful expectation of being meaningful and as realistic as possible while still being symbolic and metaphorical, is only one of the many stories one might have about war against the powers of darkness. Remember that while the devil is powerful, he is also a defeated foe. The following events show how the influence of Satan and his demons and the power and grace of God affect a human being on the individual level.
