Those who hunt monsters are to be held accountable for the lives they endanger. That is the law. Although Joseph, Caria, and Robin may save lives when they take down even the most dangerous of beasts (not to mention making a pretty penny for it, too), it was only a matter of time before the governing bodies finally detain them. However, soon a deal is struck with the three monster hunters, trading their freedom for a service to the whole country of Trevalin. An easy deal, except for one small fact. They must slay a dragon. A dragon that holds dark secrets which could send the whole country into chaos.
