What did you say? Looking for a good jeweller's store? There is one you might be interested in. A lonely building surrounded by emerald fields resting under the amethyst skies. It looks like nothing but a jeweller's store, with a label saying "House of Cards". However, it is not so lonely as you come to its foot. Congratulations. You have arrived just for the carnival's wake. You are very welcome. He hopes you will enjoy this show...

A short story related to the world and universe of my big (and still unfinished) original project about magic, space and cosmic railways. It is SLIGHTLY related to one of the storylines, but not in any major cases, so i'm sharing it :) 

Before you ask: 
The word "valletta" is taken from Italian and simply means "valley". Real capital of Malta has nothing to do with the place from this story. 
The Jeweller is the Mage of Lies and one of key figures from my untitled project. He was inspired by almost eponymous song of Arctic Monkeys, i first made him up in 2012. 
Weighing-of-the-heart part is in some way inspired by Egyptian mythology.
