"My poptarts!" Lucas gasps, and I jump off the barstool quickly. He dashes toward me and I climb onto the counter then crawl across it.
We both reach for the toaster at the same time and I move just a little faster because by the time Lucas reaches out for the poptarts they are already in my hands. His eyes look from the poptarts to my eyes and he lunges forward. I spin around and he falls, grabbing my arm and taking me down with him. I chuckle as we hit the floor and he continues to try to grab the poptarts, grunting as he struggles to grab them. I roll away from him but he rolls after me until I am up against the cabinets. He smirks and my eyes grow wider. He reaches out and snatches one poptart from my hand before I can react. I giggle as he shoves the whole poptart in his mouth.
