❝So you hate this place too?” he asked, a twinge of curiosity hinting in his voice. This whole encounter was probably the first one we really had. “I have nothing against this street,” I clarified. “But if you're referring to the orphanage, yeah, I'm not really fond of it.❞ Claire Musting lost hope for a good life. Dylan Cayring was still out looking for one. Claire, just the snark-filled excuse girl, was tired of the orphanage. Tired of no one wanting her. Too tired for a 15 year old. Dylan was tired of thinking up plans of escaping the orphanage that never worked. Tired of being "too smart" or "too quick". Dylan, too, was too tired for a 15 year old. One rainy night, Claire's and Dylan's lives get intercepted. It doesn't take them that long to put two and two together. They have one plan. One deal. One chance. Run away.

Hold On

We all have problems, right? We’ve all felt at one time or another that God has it in for us. Am I right? Of course I am… Nathan, Jacob, Millie and Mandy all have problems, each bad in their own ways. Sixteen year old Nathan is having to deal with being a teenage homosexual, in a society that refuses to accept it; a brother who is always poking his nose in his business and not to mention parents that are constantly hiding things from him. Does Nathan want to know what their hiding or would it be better if some secrets are left as just that? Then there's 17 year old Millie Kainbridge the popular, pretty bitch who if you're not like her and her friends you don't exist. Is that what she really thinks, though, or is she just keeping up appearances? Is she hiding something from people? What would happen if someone was to stumble on to her secret? It might just kill her. Imagine living in a world where nothing ever goes wrong. A world where dogs and cats frolic in the sunset, a world where there is no such thing as war. It sounds good doesn’t it; yet we know we can never get that. Mandy however, sees the world in exactly that way. She sees everything through rose tinted glasses. How long will it be before the glasses crack and she gets a big helping of reality? Last but certainly not least, we have Jacob Smith. He knows what he wants in life and stops at nothing to get it. He has everything in life to help him get it. His family is rich and he's got the brains so what is there to stop him? But then again when does life ever hand you everything on a silver platter? It likes to have its fun first...
