❝So you hate this place too?” he asked, a twinge of curiosity hinting in his voice. This whole encounter was probably the first one we really had. “I have nothing against this street,” I clarified. “But if you're referring to the orphanage, yeah, I'm not really fond of it.❞ Claire Musting lost hope for a good life. Dylan Cayring was still out looking for one. Claire, just the snark-filled excuse girl, was tired of the orphanage. Tired of no one wanting her. Too tired for a 15 year old. Dylan was tired of thinking up plans of escaping the orphanage that never worked. Tired of being "too smart" or "too quick". Dylan, too, was too tired for a 15 year old. One rainy night, Claire's and Dylan's lives get intercepted. It doesn't take them that long to put two and two together. They have one plan. One deal. One chance. Run away.

"I love how this book is turning out!😍 Not cliche at all!" - i_hatecliche "We might live next door to each other," Haley said, "but we don't live in the same world." Hooking her fingers around her backpack straps, she walked away from Jace. She had barely gone a few steps before he was at her side again. "What makes you believe we don't live in the same world?" he asked. "As far as I can tell, we do." "No, we don't. I'm...me and you're Jace Cortez. The dream of every girl. The friend to every guy. The star of the school. Girls. Sports. You're the ultimate player." "It sounds like you have a preconceived notion of who I am." "And it's one that has yet to be proven wrong." From books and a lifetime of sitting on the sidelines, Haley is convinced she knows how the world works, specifically high school. Everyone has a label and a box they fit in. This knowledge, paired with parents who are fighting, a brother leaving soon for college and a best friend who moved away has made her decide to never get involved. It will take being forced to work with her fellow juniors on a project, a boy next door with a infectious smile, a star gazer with an adorable puppy, and an unlikely pair of fangirls to make her see how truly wrong she was about everything. "IT'S NOT CLICHÉ!!!" - Moria987 "This is the reason y I keep coming back to this book...It's simply a breathtaking journey" - mariyamsajorawala "I don't usually comment but this is one of the best books I've read here. I love the fact that it's realistic and focuses on things that really hinder human interaction, perceptions and stereotypes." - yurfavegal "just gets better and better. How are all your characters 3D! Like this writing is so beautiful" - CrazyStarChick "Reading it for the second time, and the book still brings a smile to my face 😆" - grumpymood "She's practically Carter's twin 😂😂" - Guardian_21 #1 Breakingcliches #1 Arrogant #6 in Teen Romance

"So your go!" She said, smiling up at me brightly. "Wait what?" I answered with a look of confusion playing upon my face. "Well I just poured my heart out to you..." Fran said cheekily with a wink. "Now it's your go, come 'on Beadle, out with it!" She said raising her eyebrows at me. "Well what do you want me to say?" I asked blankly. "Tell me why you sleep around and then break girls' hearts." She replied with the same perplexity as me, she then bowed her head down to rest on my chest again. She must have felt me tense next to her at her question so she lifted her head and our eyes met. She gave me a reassuring smile and I felt more at ease. "Well it's pretty simple really." I said, pausing dramatically. "I break girl's hearts so that they can't break mine first." I answered expressionlessly. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Fran is your typical good girl. She studies hard. CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy. Sugar High

27 parts Complete Mature

I have always been a planner. Never the girl to leap before look at the drop. The type to have a plan and then a back up plan for that first one. However, when I stormed up the stairs of Daniel's house ready to give him an earful I didn't have a plan. I didn't have a plan for what to do when he wasn't sitting at his corner desk. I didn't plan on going over to that desk and looking through his things. I didn't plan on opening up his science textbook. Didn't plan on seeing the large cut out in the center of all the pages. Didn't plan on switching out the white powdery drugs for the sugar from fake sugar baby that we got for health class. That is my story and I plan on sticking with it. However, the mafia chasing after me might not understand that it was all a tiny misunderstanding. Warnings: Violence and Drugs
