Athenasia had lost her parents when she was 5 years of age. She was staying at her mother's stepsister, Barbara at Los Angeles. She treated her like her own daughter but later on Athena find out that her aunt just using her. Babara treated her badly. She was already 16 years old when they moved to Forks.The house was in the middle of the forest, they had no neighbore. One day she told her aunt if she could roam around the forest, Barbara told her not to go far because there are lots of wild animals in the forest.
While she was walking she was thinking very deep. She saw a river so she stand and look at her reflection at the clear water while wondering, after a while she notice that something's creeping behind the trees, then she heard a loud, feircing growl. She slowly look up then she saw a huge wolf.
Is it possibly that the stories of her mother is true? About the Queliets Legend? Werewolves? Vampires?
