(Y/n) is a 17 year old girl. Originally from the U.S., she moved to South Korea due to her father's job at the age of 8, leaving her best friend, Ryan, behind. On the way to their new house, (Y/n)'s parents had been arguing, oblivious to the drunk trucker coming head on. (Y/n) and her sister Alanna were the only survivors. With only minor cuts and bruises, (Y/n) had been cleared. However, Alanna hadn't been so lucky. She had several broken bones due to the impact and was somehow still functioning and conscious when she was found, despite the major brain and nervous system damage. She had been left paralyzed from the waist down and completely blind.
For 7 years, the two took care of each other as they bounced from orphanage to orphanage and foster home to foster home. Finally, (Y/n) managed to get both of them out of the system and, through work that is now regretted, she kept their heads above the water for 2 years.
Now, working every minute she can and still sinking, (Y/n) is starting to lose hope that she can pull herself out of the overwhelming debt.
