This is my story for the March 2016 Watt pad contest. None of the characters are mine, all of them can be found in the video game Undertale by Toby Fox. The cover photo is also not mine. King Asgore and queen Torial have fallen and the resistance army has taken over. Led by the the human child Frisk the future of the underground is bleak. In its moment of darkness a single ray of light stands against it. Chara and the remains of the free underground are determined to free their home from Frisk and the lieutenants leading his armies. The spear woman Undyne. The mad scientist Alphys and her amalgamates. Finally the skeleton duo and their army of bones stand against the free Underground. Will Chara and her allies be able to free their home?

A discontent Frisk chooses to return to the underground before leaving to join civilization with his new friends and family with the goal of saving Asriel Dreemurr. Along the way he awakens to a strange power and does battle with a strange dark malevolent force that had revealed itself to be within the underground with the absence of monsters. Frisk must endure various trials set upon him by a mysterious monster that lives in shadows whilst also grappling with troubling memories returning after the amnesia he suffered during his adventures in the underground begins to disappear. Frisk will stop at nothing to save every soul even if he has to risk his own life to do it but perhaps with the strange new weapon he obtained, the keyblade he may be able to change fate and bring about an alternative ending.

After breaking free of Chara's grip, Frisk decides to do one final reset before defeating Sans or proceeding to the throne room.
