A raging storm, in the small town of Samdun, Michigan, has caused a power outage that leaves it's residents shivering in the chill of the Autumn night.

Including childhood friends James Dabener and Rissa Hesden.

James' knowledge on the fact that Rissa is petrified of the dark, motivates him to distract her in every way possible. So when she asks a simple question, it's really no big deal.

Well, at least, that's what they thought.

He took a step back from her, leaving her cold and she was too lost to do something about it--like leaping closer to him and getting engulfed in the euphoric warmth once again. ''Cause, you will fall in love with me... ' He paused as growling deeply a set of thunders boomed above the skies. Cold wind made her hair dance around. He finally finished his sentence, 'Again.' Rain poured down upon her heavily as if the entire sky was about to break down over her, She opened her eyes against the cold water to see he had lef alreadyt, leaving her to drown into his words, completely. *** They say love's blind. The sky was a flat, depressing grey and the incessant, soaking rain left her constantly chilled. It was a typical "liquid sunshine" day in the Pacific Northwest.
