Princess Navia is a courageous, alert and morose princess, pressured by the frequent reminders that she will one day become the ruler of her kingdom. At a young age she gained the power to see the fate of others and what the future held- she became a seer.

Francis, otherwise known as 'Le Coeur Rusé' is a rich young man on the run. After committing several crimes, the citizens of the kingdom are screaming for his death. He doesn't mean to act this way- after all, it's just in his nature. He has the power to control the elements of the world and almost (but not all) of his surroundings. He is a mage at heart.

After a rather unfortunate event, the two cross paths and, very soon, find that the whole kingdom is turning against two of the wealthiest people in the land.

How will the princess cope with the cunning young man, and how will he cope with the stubborn heir to the throne?
