On a different planet, much different than Earth, is a planet that is filled with darkness. Fifty light years away from the sun, the Planet of Darkness has no days but only nights. The creatures on the planet do not mind though, for their eyes are used to the darkness. But do not fear, I love the darkness and the planet that I live on. I am a princess, a vampire, and a child. My friends includes a shy unicorn, a sassy mermaid, a werewolf with a bad attitude, my pet dragon, and all of the fairytale creatures that live on my planet. However, there are secrets within my planet that I have not learned yet. But I will learn those secrets and when I do, I must stop it before it destroys my planet and everyone that I love. Author Notes: In this story there is a mixture of different fairytale characters, a royal family, and mystical creatures. I hope you enjoy this children's book as much as I enjoy writing it. So far it is for Just Write It Contest but afterwards, I will probably edit it and change the names of some of the fairy tale characters names because I am not sure if it is considered stealing... If it is let me know. I try to change the fairy tale characters on their looks to change it up some. Yet, if I need to, I will change the names. Besides that, enjoy!

'"I cannot feel this way. You clearly don't feel-" "I do though." He interrupts me. I finally look up to meet his eyes. It holds so much sadness. "Believe it or not but it hurts me every time I see tears in your eyes." His hands reach for my face, one more time and gently wipes the tears off my face. No matter what, the tears keep flowing down. "Please don't cry." He whispers. "You have someone out there just for you. Waiting for you." I whisper softly. A sad smile forms on my face that is now saltier than the ocean bed itself. I try to tug his hand off my face, but his hold is firm. He leans his head down and places it against mine. "I know." His whisper equally soft. "You need to let go. Just as I am." I close my eyes and take in the breeze of ocean that surrounds him and now me. I hear a deep growl just as his hold tighten on my face but it's still gentle.' For the little Raven that was born out the woods, life was only about the survival of fittest. Hunt or be hunted.
