Melancholy Melodies: From Family to Fantasy is my first ever poetry book. It has 3 parts (1. Them, 2. Him, 3. Her) "Them" is a compilation of poetries about my parents, my paternal grandma and my maternal grandpa, my librarian, and my childhood friend who became my bully in middle school. "Him" is a compilation of poetries about the guy who felt like home. "Her" is a compilation of poems about myself. The covers are edited by me on Canva, and the pictures are taken from Pinterest. * Incomplete but please start reading because I don't think I'm gonna end this story, I'll keep updating! -- If you ask Lingling about love between lovers, she will tell you she has not truly felt it. So, when a new drama casting script fell into her hands, the way the scriptwriter described love kept her off guard. How can she act like that when she never felt in love to that extent? And when she finally found her female lead, the urge to take the role increased, combined with confusion that kept growing each time she spent time with her.
