The time draws near, allies have been gathered and the final war between High Heavens and Burning Hells looms ever closer. The Spirit Clans have been reunited at long last and Talarine is their chosen leader, but Tal does not wish to rule over the clans. While she battles her own inner feelings, thoughts of war and sleepless nights torment her every waking hour.
Xypherius, feeling his beloved's inner feelings, begins to fear for her. As he searches for someway to calm her warring feelings while keeping her sane, he accidently stumbles onto possibly the biggest site of underground ruins as old as Sanctuary itself. But to everyones surprise, the ruins are revealed to be the work of an alliance as old as the existance of the Spirit Clans themselves.
Tal and Xypherius both decide to do research and make one of the biggest discoveries of any lifetime as two beings thought long gone return: Celene and Etu.

This story was previously known as "The Awakening". ~*~ "One... two... three... one... two... three... a million... is that number right?" A figure less voice echoed. "Hello? Who's there?" Caliope asked, focusing on that voice. "One... two... who? A million... a billion... no, it's more... a legion..." Silence. She had seen too many horror movies and heard too many stories about that single word to overpass its meaning. The voice went quiet, yet she was still unable to see where it came from. She rubbed her eyes and all she could see around her was a thick path in a jungle-like scene. She didn't remember how she got there, but she knew it was for something important. Her eyes focused on the far end of the path and all she could see were more trees. She turned to the opposite side and found just the same. "One... two... billions... but always back at one..." the voice resumed it's counting. "Where are you? Who are you?" ~*~ -Her name is Caliope, and when she was a young girl, she never believed in happy endings. For her, there was nothing more than what you see in front of you. All she needed was her best friend Vanessa. Her background is very simple; a foster child with foster parents that were everything but warm and caring. Regardless of that, she became a smart and responsible young woman, ready for whatever came her way. At least that is what she thought. Her new job interview changed her life. It changed everything she ever believed in, and what she thought it was real. Her new boss is an amazing woman who has a son, something different from what he is made out to be. As she discovers the hidden truth about her boss and her son, she has to prepare herself for a whole new world that will unfold to her. ~*~ Intro collaboration with my loyal reader @GabrielleCarden Original Picture from the cover made by Marcus J. Eden's Eclipse by crash_course70
20 parts Ongoing Mature
Rael Thorne was never meant to ascend. A rogue knight with a past as fractured as the illusions he wields, he has always been an outsider among the celestial warriors of Eden. But when the abyss comes for him, it does not take his life. Instead, it takes his heart. And yet... he still breathes. The divine halls of Valkyria Academy have fallen, overrun by an unfathomable darkness that Eden's warriors could not stop. Forced into exile, the surviving Archangels and Valkyrie knights retreat to Avalon, where druids weave life into the land itself. But even in the sanctuary of the wilds, Rael is an impossibility-a man who should be dead, carrying something unseen in the empty space where his heart once was. Something only the darkness can recognize. As whispers in a forgotten tongue begin to speak clearly in his mind, Rael realizes he is no longer the man he once was. The very warriors who once stood at his side now watch him with suspicion, none more than Aetheriel, the Frostbound Archangel, who believes Rael should have been executed the moment he survived. But even Aetheriel cannot deny the truth-Rael's survival was no accident. Something ancient has chosen him. Something terrible has already begun. And as Heralds of the abyss awaken, whispering of a prophecy long buried in time, Rael must answer the question that haunts them all: Was he spared to save Eden? Or to end it? A dark epic fantasy of celestial warfare, eldritch horror, and the thin line between fate and damnation. Fans of morally complex heroes, divine magic, and the creeping dread of the unknown will find themselves drawn into a world where light and darkness have never been more uncertain.
