This is a story about a girl named Alice Ashdown, whose life was completely normal (for an upper class person) as a girl. But now that she is 16, she found out a secret that the Ashdown family kept for generations. Now, she must fulfill her role as a special child with powers no one ever thought she had, and fight her way through life, clinging to the shadows.
~This story is set in the mid 1800's during the Victorian era in England.~

And because many people cannot seem to get control of their ability, there are special schools. Everyone has to visit a magic Academy at least once in their lifetime o else the won't be allowed to use their ability in any way and are given some type of blockage. There are thousands and thousands of Academies but there are exactly 3 Elite Academies, on the continent, Ashlyn lives. Heart Academy, Eagle Academy and... Hillside Academy. I am currently rewriting this, but feel free to give this draft a read :D Shadow's world is turned upside down when she found out her grandmother died. Her grandmother was like her second parent, a replacement for her dad who died before she was born. But then, on one fateful day, Shadow brings home a mirror and a storybook home from her grandmother's house, after she found a hidden note telling her to take it. After her grandmother's funeral, Shadow trips and falls into the mirror, taking her best friend, Alex, along with her. Now they find themselves in a new universe called Euphoria, in a kingdom known as Abesa. Shadow and Alex find they are apart of an old legend of Abesa and that they were destined to come there and save it from swirling into the darkness. Nothing will ever be the same.Concluida
