It has no fear.
It has no weakness.
It lives to kill.
Whatever you do... don't go downstairs!

Haunted by the memory of his deceased wife, Neil Harvey hoped that buying a new house halfway across the country would free him and his daughter from the shadow of grief that followed them.

It was a lovely house. A bit run down, creaky around the edges, but Neil could fix that up.

But why, since they moved in, does Amber keep having nightmares about a young boy with dark eyes and bleeding hands?

And why was there a lock on the basement door?

Liam left everything that he knew behind, his house, the neighborhood he lived in, and the city that he knew. Why? Because he needed a change. He needed a fresh start; he couldn't handle the gossips anymore, the neighbors whispering behind his back, the failed relationship that ended with a heartache for him and not his ex. He needed to be in a new area where no one knew what happened; no one knew the suffering he went through. So what does Liam do? He packs his things, sells his house, old furniture, and buys a new home in an area he's never even been in or heard of. Everything should go perfectly, right? This fresh start. Not quite, Liam has an unwanted guest in his new house, and this guest doesn't want to leave; she seems to be telling him that it's her house and not his. She's mistaken; this house was Liams. After all, he's purchased it for an excellent price and has moved all his new things in there. She's the one that needs to go, not him. So why is it that Liam is unable to kick her out of his home? Why is it that she won't leave?! or is it that she can't go. Strange things start to occur in Liam's new home, something that shouldn't be happening, spooky things, things that would happen in horror movies, and Liam doesn't know what to do. He starts to panic; he's the only one panicking; the unwanted guest, on the other hand, just stares at him with a smile as she throws her head back, letting out a chilling laugh. "We'll see who ends up leaving, because I am not going anywhere." She says.

The Lake House

38 parts Complete

Lesley and Nick Livingston make a life-changing decision: to leave the hustle and bustle of New York City behind and find peace in an idyllic lake house in the tranquil town of Arcaden. The water glistens serenely, but beneath the facade of beauty lies a dark secret, a haunting mystery waiting to be unraveled. Their dreamy lake house, a haven of relaxation, holds a somber history. Leah Meyers, the daughter of the previous owners, tragically drowned there. Yet, this doesn't deter Lesley; she's eager to transform the lake house into a charming home. However, strange and eerie occurrences start unfolding. Lesley senses an ethereal presence, a ghostly figure she believes to be Leah. This unsettling experience begins to fray her sanity and her once-promising photography career spirals toward the precipice of collapse. Matters worsen when Nick goes missing, leaving Lesley to grapple with the eerie lake house all alone. The clock is ticking, and time is running out. Can Lesley unravel the mysteries lurking within the house? And will Nick be found before it's too late? FEATURED: @Mystery (Amateur (Sleuth)) @Fright (Creatures & Zombies)
