When Matt meets Evelyn before humanity was here, they produced a species called the AniMarked, then the reptiles, and shortly after, all the animals on Earth. Humans then came and overtook all species, becoming their king. But evil that came with the humans tarnished them, and slowly the number of AniMarked depleted, until the last group of them were polluted slowly by the evil from humans, which made the Earth tremble as good slowly turned evil.
A prophecy said that the AniMarked would come again to free Earth from its evil bonds, coming from the pulses deep within.
This is their story.

Long ago, there was a world known as Ryugaeia. It was a peaceful world where dragons and humans lived in harmony. Dragons were the keepers of the elements and humans were keepers of the world. Time passed and the Dragons and humans formed an alliance. The Dragons could lend their powers to the humans and the chosen human of each dragon became one with the dragon, inheriting great strength and elemental powers. However there was one dragon Armageddon, a dark dragon who hated humans, jealous of their duty as rulers of Ryugaeia. Armageddon revolted and awakened an army of Dark Dragons, then joining forces with an equally evil human warlord, he terrorized Ryugaeia. When evil was at its peak, a new hope was created. It was the Dragonhaärt. All the good dragons combined their spirits and a Dragonheart was born. This heart could control all dragon powers put together and Armageddon was defeated and sealed. This was however at a terrible price. Dragons suffered extinction and the Dragonheart was lost forever. Prophets and seers prophesied the return of the Dragonheart and the final defeat of Armageddon. Nerve is one of the prophecy dragonlings, who has almost lived his entire life not knowing he has his talons in two mancers. While on the journey to restore peace on Drealite, he learns that not every dragon close to him can be fully trusted, and he cannot let his guard down.
