Ryland is sixteen and far from normal. She has never been outside of her small farm town's city limits and has always done what she could on the farm. As the youngest of five, all boys, Ryland isn't the girliest girl there is but she doesn't mind getting all dressed up. Now the farm is changing as her parents invite five boys and five girls that have been having issues in their normal lives to try and help them to be better people when they get older. Ryland has been given the role of director of this new makeshift camp and she just runs with it.
