The year is 2020 and a brand new game system called the Portal X is being released with a new virtual reality game that is exclusively for the system called Endless Potential Online. There's been a lot of hype about the game but there has been no information what so ever released to the public. 
It's said to be a breakthrough in gaming history, but for Leondo, a secret hardcore gamer and semi-popular junior in college doesn't have much money. So he has to unfortunately give up on the game of the year but one night he gets a message on his phone.
All in all he ends up struggling between spending time with his friends and spending time in his game of a life time.
