Spin was drowning, or he would be if he needed to breathe he looked around it was pitch black, he could feel a chain tied around his ankles he'll wait a few minutes for the ship above him to leave before escaping. After escaping he made his way to the surface he scanned the sea for any ships, "nothing in sight", and his home wasn't too far away so he started swimming. When spin came ashore he saw belle waiting in front of the house for and she came sprinting towards him "spin! You were gone three weeks this time" "spin looked down at the thirteen year old girl " sorry belle pirates took me this time and tried to sacrifice me to the sea god, oh but I got dinner" he pulled up two large fish he'd caught along the way. They made their way inside "any new bounties" "yeah just one and you won't believe it 2000 pounds that will set us up for life!" "What's this guy's name?" "Blackbeard they call him, mad as the devil they say" "well let's hope he goes down without a fight."

But when he thoughts that he would hear his own scream, his ears perked up at the sound of an audible squeak and a grunt. He peeked one eye out, seeing only smoke from where the monster was a second ago. Sonic's eyes widened and he looked around immediately, his hands slightly shaking. As he looked up at a roof, he noticed a silhouette, standing there, a giant smoky scythe resting over his shoulder. His crimson red eyes locked onto green emerald ones. "Pathetic." the figure said, making a shiver run up Sonic's spine." Basically, this is just a modern AU of One piece but in my AU. this isn't a One-shot tho, this is basically something I came up with while laying on my bed instead of sleeping like I was suppose to. This is basically an AU where all pirates in the original universe are criminals here, marines are the police obviously. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ace, Sabo, Luffy and Lora have always wanted freedom. Every time it is in their grasp, it slips past them and doesn't appear again in a while. It has always been like this, since they met their psychopathic and controlling 'boss', freedom sounded like a legend in the minds of the four. Being assassin's for the infamous Blackbeard's was their job. Killing people since they were captured, trained until their bones broke, it's a never ending cycle they had to endure. For they knew what would happen if they slipped up. They never tried thinking of any type of escape plan, for every opportunity they had was quickly closed up. They thought they would stay in this corrupted operation forever, they really did. But their boss finally slipped up, bringing them to the one place they had placed all their hope in getting out. The biggest slip up of their boss? meeting the Whitebeard's.
