"Would you like to dance?" the boy asks me. I stare deep into his blue eyes, but I can't figure out who he is. He's tall with dark hair and the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen. I know everyone at this school, but with his features hidden behind his mask I can't tell who he is. "Sure, I would love to." Did I just say that? I agreed to dance with a random boy who I don't know. He takes my hand and leads me to the dance floor. We dance for a few songs and then he asks me, "Would you like to take a walk? I know the perfect place." I nod and he pulls me behind him off the dance floor. We leave the hotel and start walking down a little path. "I had a wonderful time tonight," says the guy. He reaches to his face and removes his mask. I recognize him immediately. Something Like Fall
The continuation of my previous story Something Like Summer. This is the 2nd part of the trilogy, with the last being Something Like Spring. It has passed 2 years since Oskar met Aaron for the first time. They haven't talked to each other since then. Aaron lives his best life with his friends and girlfriend, as a popular boy. He quickly forgot about Oskar. Oskar also has his accountable friends, but the day he met Aaron for the first time in 2013 he fell in love with him. He tried to hide it for a long time. One year later in summer 2014 Oskar finally admits to himself he's in love with Aaron, but it seems like their ways had been separated for good. Another year flies by, and now we have the autumn of 2015. 14-years old Oskar begins his 3rd and last grade of junior high school in Poland. The boy tries to accept the fact that Aaron, 16, ended the same junior high school a few months ago and that he won't be seeing him on corridors anymore during breaks. They meet though, at the same school. One incident will bring closer boys to each other for the first time. However, Aaron is clearly only into girls. Oskar feels attracted to boys but still doesn't admit to himself that he might be gay and generally is in denial. What will happen between them- friendship, love, hatred? Maybe nothing? Eve is 16 years old. She has normal friends and normal teenage habits. She didn't sneak out or smoke anything. She cussed sometimes and had a guy best friend she did secret things with. Her parents are Catholic, so they see her normal teen behavior as acting out beyond reason and continuously look for somewhere she can be 'fixed'. Her therapist suggested a place that looked like camp. Two strangers come get her in the middle of the night and bring her to the worst place she has ever been to in her life. When she comes back to live with her best friend, she is nothing like she was when she left, but he promised he'd wait for her.
