It takes place in New York. this story is about Serenity who is in love with Kai. she loves him and he loves her but she doesn't know it. Her father left when she was young. She is now 16 years old and depressed. As you must know she tries to kill herself. Serenity's step father is an awful person who abuses her. And her mom won't leave him. Her brother, Ashton, loved her and cared so much about her. Her brother was the only person to ever care about her. And Kai may still love another. And her best friend Faithlynn Jade is the only one who understands her.
