On with the description of the book:

Gerard is a vampire. He's the leader of all of the supernatural beings of Washington D.C. and a WWII veteran. He saw his brother, Mikey, die in front of him; not only has he been kidnapped and experimented on by hunters, and it has made him cold.

Patrick is a phoenix hybrid. He's Gerard's right hand man, and an unstoppable weapon rescued by Gerard to protect the supes and keep the hybrid from any more harm. He's also a huge fugitive to the hunters, who are always on full watch for him. 

Brendon is a demon. He's newly escaped from Hell and had a plan to take over, but was stopped by Gerard. Now he's out trying to fit in, cause trouble, and mentor the new vampire, Pete.Alle Rechte vorbehalten

He knows how to play, like, fifty instruments and he's been taking voice lessons to help with his already great voice. Though, there are a few problems. One of them being he gets stage fright easily, another being his parents are crazy religious and wouldn't approve of it. He mentioned it once and they sent him to a private lutheran school. Now, the only way he can come close to expressing himself is through praise band- even then he holds himself back to the point of sounding mediocre, but just good enough to be better than the other people that auditioned. When strange killings occur around the city Patrick comes face to face with a vampire but this wasn't exactly the kind of excitement he had wished for. Note: Some parts of this story, such as the characters, are based on the 'A Little Less Sixteen Candles' video, but I put my own spin on the whole concept of the vampires and other certain details because I wanted to. Frank wonders why he's still alive. 12:37 pm. Mikey wonders why his friend, Frank, is acting so weird. 2:19 pm. Gerard leaves the house and goes to the beach, where he found the boy. 3:49 pm. Frank realises someone found him. 5:26 pm. Mikey wants to know what the fuck is going on with the two important people in his life. Purple ones especially. He was diagnosed with Lukemia when he was three, almost four, aka six months earlier, but he's still not quite sure what that means. But he knows the nice grandma, Ms. Urie, has the same thing he has. He also knows she has a grandson his age who comes to visit sometimes.
