(This is my take on how Robin became Nightwing)
Dick Grayson is a loveable dork, but also a mischief brat. There really is no inbetween for our young bird. But what happens when he gets stabbed by Deathstroke and nearly dies? What will his team think? And how does Dick almost dying, get Deathstroke interested in a new protégé? Is it his new fighting style? Or the fact that no one lives after having an encounter with Slade? Will Dick be able to recover his mind after all this ordeal? Read and enjoy!!

Who really trained Damien? Was it Bruce, or was it Dick? Well, surprisingly, Dick Grayson is the actual mentor of Damien Wayne, Cassandra Cain, and Stephanie Brown; AKA Robin, Orphan, and Spoiler. Bruce has been 'dead' for about three weeks now, and Gotham is getting restless. Dick knows that it's time for him to become Batman, even if it means he has to find the body of his mentor to confirm this. Damien Wayne was thrust to his care by Thalia, just out of the blue. He was already overwhelmed with everything, so he didn't know how to handle his new brother. However, that didn't mean he was an ass to him. After some time, Gotham gets worse. The bat fam needs more help, but they don't want to call in for it. They find two new girls fighting in the streets, and Dick thinks his prayers have been answered.Complete

Instead of being adopted by Bruce Wayne, young Richard Grayson stumbles upon Slade Wilson aka DeathStroke who took him in. Slade taught him how to fight and kill. What happens when his world starts to crumble all around him. And Batman brings him to the HQ of the young justice team. Batman in the other hand is too worried about the Justice League disappearance to fully search for Dick, who could be attacking the league? Failsafe, a seemingly harmless training exercise. That is, till Miss Martin's subconscious accidentally took control of it. Turning it into a traumatic experience, one that not even the Boy Wonder can cope with. Since they woke up, rifts have formed. Most noticeable, was between Robin and everyone. He wasn't close with Megan anymore, cuz she blamed him for Connor and Wally's deaths. Wally cuz he lied to him and supposedly betrayed his trust and misused his role as leader. Kaldur just was disappointed, Connor was just more Stoic, Artemis was her usual self, but Robin distanced himself from her. What will happen when Robin's birthday comes around? What happens when his first and most hated enemy escapes prison? What happened when he gets ignored by his team on a mission and ends up getting gravely injured? What happens when Robin must fight for his life?Complete

Dick Grayson eventually let's his guard down, but as he gets to know her, he finds more and more secrets. For Athena Thomas, life has always been hard. So, when the opportunity to get revenge for her family's murder presents itself, she takes it without knowing the consequences. Nothing matters but the mission. Athena was always taught to put business over emotion. How to Lose a Bird
When you're the youngest, you often have to work hard to prove yourself to others. Whether it's to friends, family, or strangers, you can never give up you're ground. This is what Robin, the Boy Wonder, deals with everyday. Both as a member of the Young Justice, and as a hero of Gotham. And when the Young Justice and his mentor, Batman, suddenly start treating him as a delicate object for an unknown reason, Robin gets paranoid. Alone
Nightwing has been abandoned, first by his mentor, Bruce, then by Wally, his best friend, then by his second family, and now by everyone else. They blame him for what happened to Wally, they blame him for Kaldur almost dying, for Megan getting captured, for the destruction of the cave, and for keeping this all secret from them. Nobody asked him if he wanted to be left in charge, nobody asked him if he was alright during the invasion, nobody seemed to remember that he was only eighteen, nobody seemed to realize that he had to become Batman and protect Gotham along with Bludhaven , and nobody seemed to care about what their words did to him. Everyone knows that stress can hurt you, that you should try to get unstressed when you are stressed. However, some people can't, and so, what happens to them?
