The story of Princess Mononoke told from San's point of view. Prologue: "In ancient times, the land lay covered in forests, where from ages long past, dwelt the spirits of the gods. Back then, man and beast lived in harmony, but as time went by, most of the great forests were destroyed. Those that remained were guarded by gigantic beasts who owed their allegiance to the Great Forest Spirit, for those were the days of gods and of demons."

Disclaimer: This is a work of fanfiction. I do not own Princess Mononoke as a story or its characters. That honor belongs to Hayao Miyazaki.

The shifting of colors

3 parts Complete

╭─────༺♡༻─────╮ Sakura, a young girl, celebrates the annual weeklong festival of the shifting sky alone once more. Every thought she holds of her parents are blurred, having never met them and only hearing descriptions and stories of the two through the people within the village she lives in. On the second evening of the festival, families are in their homes sharing folktales about spirits visiting earth when the day is cyan and the night is a deep navy blue, the pink-haired girl finds herself in the forest on the outskirts of her village, coming across two very strange humans... If you could even call them human, that is. I do not own Naruto and none of the art is mine unless specifically stated. ╰─────༺♡༻─────╯
