The horse stood still, men all around him. Yelling. Whips in there hands, aimed for the once beautiful bay coat. Slashing. Blood. Scars. They could see the fear in his eyes. They didn't care. They Changed the horse's life forever. Kota Smith is beginning to make her way into the professional world of dressage. When her horse has to be retired because of injury she doesn't know what to do. Then she meets Tango, a Dutch Warmblood who has been abused and is now better known as Satan, or Devil. When Kota buys him at an auction simply so he won't go to slaughter she doesn't know if she can handle him but sets her mind to bringing out the best in him.
