Taylor Aurelia, daughter of Queen Aurelia of one of the Seven Kingdoms of the Seven Seas, is a Mer Princess.  Well, only half, that is.  Her mother, the Queen, had fallen in Love with a Human and conceived Taylor in the process.

Now, Taylor has finally pleaded to her over-protective mother of spending more time with her Human father on Land for a year.  When the Queen finally caves in and allows her to leave the safety of the Sea, they don't realize just how safe Taylor has become when she begins to walk on Land amongst the other Humans.

For a deep dark Evil resides within the Sea, planning to claim the Princess as his own and take over the Sea Realm with her at his side, willingly or not.

So as Taylor continues to live her otherwise normal half-Human half-Mer life while currently living on Land with her father and her Sea Shifter friend, Kelpi, she soon realizes that the new friends she makes and the boy she is falling for may not be enough to save her from the clutches of the dark Evil beneath the Ocean Waves.

And that she may be falling for the wrong guy after all.  So who has truly captured Princess Taylor's heart while also risking their life to save her own?  And did I mention that as so much a drop of water touches her, she pops a tail instantly?

Philip's kindness remains prominent in her mind when Minerva offers her a choice to be a human. Hesitantly she agrees, unaware of how different the human world from hers.
